Towards the end of March as lockdown began and stories of sadness and suffering were dominating the news, I realised that we may be in this situation for more than just a few weeks; I felt frustrated that there wasn't a lot I could do to help due to the fact the most of my time these days is taken up by looking after my rapidly growing and permanently hungry 7 month old baby boy. As I moved my weekly yoga classes online, I decided that for March and April I would donate the proceeds of my classes to the Haven House Children's Hospice in Woodford Green, who had sent out an emergency appeal around this time. I really hope that the money raised from my classes will contribute towards helping the staff and families of Haven House a little bit during these tough times. Thank you to all of my yoga students for joining me from their living rooms - I love the sense of community that our sessions bring and I genuinely look forward to them each week.
